Building Process
These boats are built on a strongback and the edges of each plank are joined to the next much like the way the original boat was built. Because much of the boat’s upper structure did not survive, details such as whether it used a square or lateen rig are unknown. The 16" kits are square rigged and the 26" lateen as these lend themselves best for display on tables and mantels.
